Bariloche (MAP) is my entrance gate for one of the most impressive natural area of the world: PATAGONIA
The city itself is just a small and calm touristic place, a famous sky resort during the (Australian emisphere) winter, it boasts stunning natural parks scattered along a series of connected lakes during the summer, that means now.
One of the best way to explore the area is getting a bicycle along the "circuito chico": a 25 kilometer road surrounding the lakes across several hills, providing some really interesting viewpoint on the way.
Boat trip are available on a daily base for getting another perfpective of the lake area. It makes a few stops on some islands, where natural parks are being held.
The one thing you don't want to miss is a hike on the Cerro Campanario, where you have a 360º view of the whole area. Simply breathless...
