Big city life Street Art project: This is my shortest trip ever: a hundred of meters from my home, here in Rome, a project called "Big city life Tor Marancia" has just been terminated.
18 writers from all over the world painted the facades of 18 buildings in my own neighborhood.
I had the honor and the pleasure to witness, day by day, this big ongoing event.
And eventually decided to do this "special" trip.

Doha express: One day in Qatar
Losing a connecting flight while in Doha, Qatar, may not be so unpleasant.
Due to a airplane crash in Nairobi our flight connection from Kenya back home was rescheduled 24 hours after landing in Doha. We had enough time to go around and understand the city, if not entire Qatar.

February 2012: I eventually completed my "Wonder Collection". It was a hard task started back in the past, year by year, trip by trip. After so much travelling, I ended up with a rating of all the wonders of the world. Starting from Rio - the last one collected - until the top of the list: the one magical place in the world...
#8 Christ Redemer, Rio
To be hones I did never understand why this huge statue was in the list of wonders. Compared to all other incredible sites this appeared to me just a big white piece of catholic sign. That's why it appears to be the last (first on countdown) on the list. When I eventually arrived in Rio, after seven months of Travelling around the world I kind of changed my mind. The Chris Redeemer is still not impressive. However, the city of Rio it is just breathtaking. Maybe that's the real meaning of this wonder: the landscape around it.

This is how the Government of Colombia decided to announce that this is not anymore a dangerous place. There's more: it is a huge and amazing country where you can meet the Caribbean sea, the desert, the jungle, the andes.
And people, they are so amazing that one month of travelling in [almost] every part of this beautiful place was not enough...
